I am a fifth generation native of the Town of Waterford and currently live in the prior Round's General Store/Truman Properties Building in the center of our historic village. My 97-year-old Mom holds the Gold Cane for Waterford. I have practiced real estate brokerage since 1985 and began my career in Southern New Hampshire. In 1988 I established Truman Properties in Waterford and was the designated broker/owner for 19 years until its closing in 2007. Since 2009 I have been affiliated with Paris Cape Realty.

Early on I became "Rookie of the Year" in 1986. In 1987 I received my GRI designation from the Graduate Realtors Institute. Professionalism with honesty and integrity, keeping informed in the industry, committing to on-going education and just doing what you say you will do, is why I feel I have consistently been a multi-million producer. In 1992 I was named the Western Maine Board's "Realtor of the Year". Although I enjoy listing and selling all types of properties, I have a strong & successful background in the listing and selling of historic homes & farm properties and I love listing & selling land.

For years I have been an avid mountain hiker. I am a member of the AMC 4000 Club after a 15-month effort hiking all of the forty-eight 4,000 footers in New Hampshire. In September of 2008 I accomplished a long-time goal by hiking across the Grand Canyon from the North Rim to the South Rim. I try to make a little time each day for a mountain hike with my dog Molly and enjoy rowing my Adirondack guide boat Dory. Look for me on Keoka Lake with Molly on board.

Having lived in Maine with my husband and children for the last 40 years, I began my real estate career in 2002. Now with the family fully grown, my interest in real estate seemed a perfect transition coming from a family involved in the manufactured housing business. I had years of years of experience of working directly with builders and home buyers. Whether selling or buying I provide information about the process, contracts, and market conditions.

More specifically I can offer: Knowledge of local schools, shopping, recreation, communities, neighborhoods, ski areas, and historic districts. Latest in technology and support systems. Skill, care, and diligence in every transaction. Trustworthiness, honesty and integrity. Excellent negotiation skills. Attention to detail.

My love for Maine's quality of life, its mountains, lakes, the ocean, and endless natural beauty, is evident in the enthusiasm I bring to all my buyers and sellers. And - you can reach me anytime!

Coming from a dedicated skiing family, I look forward to family trips out west skiing with our son in Steamboat Springs, CO. I love spending time with our daughters and grandchildren here in Maine. My interests also include tennis, hiking, snowshoeing, antiquing, interior decorating, and boating on Maine’s beautiful coast.

The Town of Lovell in Western Maine has been my home for 40 years. We moved from Rhode Island in 1973 to get back to the land and raise a family. I have two grown daughters and two grandsons. My real estate career began in 1996, when my husband and I opened our own real estate agency in the Town of Lovell. Since then I have assisted countless buyers and sellers to fulfill their dream of home ownership whether a first home, vacation home or the ultimate retirement home. I am also uniquely qualified to find that farm property for those who dream of this kind of life style.

I believe in being fair and honest, practicing good communications skills and constant attention to detail. My desire of keeping on top of the changes in the real estate industry, inspired me to study and qualify for the Accredited Buyer Agent designation.

A skier since childhood, I greatly enjoy outdoor activities including horseback riding and kayaking. I raise horses and chickens on my own small farm property. You can find me quite early in the morning in my barn “doing chores”. Other hobbies are yoga, organic gardening, rug hooking, knitting and sewing.

I am proud to lead a team of seasoned and dedicated professionals here at Paris Cape Realty. All brokers are "Realtors" and adhere to the greatest standard of professionalism and Code of Ethics. I have held a Maine broker's license since 1988. During the 1990's a new career opportunity led me into the corporate world of the U.S. subsidiary of a large German firm, both here in Maine and later in North Carolina. Having raised my family in the Oxford Hills and developed deep roots, it became a goal to return to this part of the country.

After formalizing a plan of owning my own business, Paris Cape Realty opened its doors on May 2, 2005 at 20 High Street in South Paris. Our building is one of the oldest in Paris and fits nicely (my opinion) with surrounding properties, both residential and commercial. Early support from the buying and selling public allowed my new enterprise to thrive. We handle residential and commercial properties, waterfront and historic properties, farms and land parcels – all with expertise and know-how. Our geographic radius spans a wide area – from Poland to Bethel, Lovell to Hartford, Naples to Turner – just to name a few of the towns we service.

As a local business owner I am mindful of community needs and "give back" by supporting a variety of causes, to the extent possible. While running my real estate agency is a central focus, there is nothing more important than family. Over the years our family has enjoyed much traveling throughout the world but we agree that Maine is truly special and Oxford Hills is "HOME".
